Jeannette Flowers

LGS Board President

Jeannette is the director of account management at UMR.  She was named “2015 Most Influential Women in Benefit Advising” and serves as the committee chair for the LGS Revenue and Fundraising Committee. Jeannette also serves on the National Association of Health Underwriters. She serves on the LGS Executive Committee and has been a member of the LGS Board since 2011.

Kathleen Bennett

Kathy is an environmental, land use, tax assessment and condemnation attorney at Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC.  She is a 40 Under Forty recipient and serves on the board of CNY Land Trust. She serves on the LGS Executive Committee and has been a member of the LGS Board since 2009.

Jennifer Smith

Jennifer is the assistant general counsel for C & S Companies. She served as a board member and past president of the CNY Women’s Bar Association. Jennifer volunteers with the Onondaga County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyer’s Project. She serves on the LGS Executive Committee, chairs the LGS Alumni Committee and has been a member of the LGS Board since 2016.

Amy is the vice president of finance at Centerstate CEO.  She previously worked as the controller for C&S Companies. As a member of the LGS Executive Committee Amy serves as the chair for the LGS Finance Committee. She has been a member of the LGS Board since 2013.

Ronald Lombard

LGS Ex-Officio

Ron is the news director at Spectrum News. He was hired by the cable company to launch the 24-hour news channel in 2003. Prior to that he was the news director at NewsChannel 9 in Syracuse. Ron serves on the Board of Directors of the NYS Associated Press Association and chairs the Administrative Council of Brewerton United Methodist Church. He serves on the LGS Executive Committee and has been a member of the LGS Board since 2007.

Kenneth Casarsa

Ken is a communications representative at Lockheed Martin. He also is a member of the LGS Executive Committee and chairs the LGS Marketing Committee. He previously served on the boards of the American Heart Association and the Syracuse Ad Club. He has been a member of the LGS Board since 2013.

Steven Coker

LGS Class of 2013

Steve is the director of diversity and community engagement at Pike Company. He is a board member for the Eat To Live Food Cooperative, Christian Brothers Academy, and past board member of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County, Syracuse ModelNeighborhood Corporation, Syracuse Alliance for a New Economy and Southside Neighborhood Coalition. He has been a member of the LGS Board since 2016.

Maddie DiGristina

LGS Class of 2018

Maddie is Manager of Capture Management in the Business Development department at SRC. She is a Forty Under Forty recipient and serves as a Co-Chair of SRC’s Diversity & Inclusion Council.

Timothy Duffy

LGS Class of 2008

Tim is a vice president at Teracai where he is responsible for all aspects of sales, product management, solutions architecture and services delivery.  He is a board member for the Syracuse Teachers’ Center Policy Board, a member of the Cisco Advisory Council Ingram Micro VTN and the recipient of the 40 Under Forty award and the LGS Alumni Achievement award. He has been a member of the LGS Board since 2015.

Franklin Fry

LGS Class of 2013

Franklin is the Executive Director for the American Heart Association (Southern Tier, Greater Syracuse, and North Country).  He has been recognized with national and regional awards for successfully advancing the work of the AHA, with a focus on addressing the social determinates of health.  He also currently serves on the board of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County

Marcelle Haddix

 Marcelle is a Dean’s Associate Professor and chair of the Reading and Language Arts department in the Syracuse University School of Education, where she is an inaugural co-Director of the Lender Center for Social Justice.  She is the President of the Literacy Research Association.   She directs two literacy programs for adolescent youth. She currently also serves on the Friends of Central Library Board of Directors and works closely with youth programming at Elmcrest Children’s Center.

Sarah Ioele

Sarah is a Certified Professional Corporate and Life Coach and serves as the Director of Community Relations for Father Champlin’s Guardian Angel Society. Sarah is a member of the Sales and Marketing Professional Services and Strathmore Neighborhood Association. She has been a member of the LGS Board since 2013.

Timothy Johnson

LGS Class of 2008

Tim is a senior managing scientist at Anchor QEA.  He is a perceptive, strategic manager that is able to function at a high level with staff ranging from entry to executive level. Tim serves as the chairperson of the annual LGS golf tournament. He has been a member of the LGS Board since 2013.

Ocesa Keaton

Ocesa is the Director of Greater Syracuse H.O.P.E. She serves as a board member for the YWCA, is on the Salvation Army Young Leaders Advisory Board, a past board member of the Dunbar Center and a court appointed special advocate.

Jamey Lloyd

LGS Class of 2014

Jamey is a business banker for M & T Bank. He is a 40 under Forty recipient and a past steering  committee member for 40 Below. Jamey currently serves on the Young Leaders Council for the United Way of CNY and has served on the LGS finance committee since 2015.

Kevin Magdon

LGS Class of 2006

Kevin is a manager of worldwide business travel sales at Hilton Worldwide.  He is a member of the International Center of Syracuse and F.O.C.U.S. Greater Syracuse.  Kevin is also a 40 Under Forty award recipient. He has been a member of the LGS Board since 2011.

Matthew McIntyre

LGS Class of 2011

 Matthew works at Merrill Lynch. He has served on the LGS marketing committee and currently serves on the LGS program committee. Matthew has also served on the Onondaga County Agriculture Council, was a member of the Board of Directors for the CNY Jazz Arts Foundation, and is a graduate of Cornell University’s LEAD New York program.

Vic Parker

Victor C. Parker, MBA, is a regional sales director for HM Insurance Group, a national leader in the Stop Loss insurance market. He was selected to Central New York’s 40 Under Forty in 2011. Victor is a graduate of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s leadership program, C-Change, and the United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s board member development program, BOLD. He also is a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati program

Renae Rokicki

LGS Class of 2014

Renae is a project and strategic planning administrator at SUNY Upstate Medical University. As a Board of Directors member for the American Red Cross of Central New York, she serves as the Chairperson of the Annual Real Heroes Breakfast Committee and Board Development. Renae is a DEC Certified Searcher and Board of Directors member for Onondaga County Wilderness Search and Rescue, Inc. She has been a member of the LGS Board since 2015.

William Sanford

Bill is the owner at Brown & Sanford Consultants. He served for many years as an Onondaga County legislator and is a past board member of HOPE for Bereaved. He serves on the LGS Executive Committee and has been a member of the LGS Board since 2007.

Neil Webb

LGS Class of 2015

Neil is the Director of Business Development at O’Brien & Gere. He has been working within the energy industry for over 24 years. Neil serves as the chair of the Industry Partners Council at the Syracuse Center of Excellence and the LGS Alumni Committee.

Jeremy Wheeler

LGS Class of 2012

Jeremy first joined VIP Structures in September of 2016 as Director of IT. He came to VIP with over 15 years of professional experience, most recently with Dairy Farmers of America. As Chief Technology Officer, Wheeler drives VIP’s technology strategy and serves on the VIP Companies Senior Leadership team.

Julie White

 Julie is the Senior Vice President of Student Engagement and Learning Support at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York.  She has worked in various roles in student services, research administration, and health education at a number of colleges and universities.  She earned her M.Ed. in Counseling from Xavier University and her Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from University of Rochester.
