Experience Our Flagship Program
The flagship program is a year-long, experiential learning program rooted in the desire to make Central New York better. Through hands-on learning, exposure to all facets of Syracuse, and building of meaningful connections, participants grow as leaders, get involved, and make a difference.
CNY Political
Leadership Institute
The CNY Political Leadership Institute prepares emerging leaders to enter public life with confidence. This nonpartisan program offers hands-on training in campaign fundamentals, giving participants the insight, skills, and tools to run for office effectively.
Local
Leadership Initiative
In partnership with Syracuse University, the Local Leadership Initiative is an eight-week program that connects Syracuse University Whitman School students to leadership opportunities in Central New York. Through hands-on learning and local engagement, students build skills, relationships, and a stronger connection to the region.
Nourishing
Tomorrow's Leaders
In partnership with The Gifford Foundation, this program prepares individuals for board service, focusing on building diversity among nonprofit boards within CNY.
