Strong nonprofit organizations begin with strong, representative leadership. Nourishing Tomorrow’s Leaders prepares individuals to step into meaningful governance roles by developing the insight, confidence, and perspective needed to lead with purpose.

This program creates a pathway for community members to engage in board service thoughtfully and effectively, strengthening decision-making, accountability, and impact across the nonprofit sector. By investing in people and relationships, Nourishing Tomorrow’s Leaders helps ensure that the future of nonprofit leadership in Central New York is inclusive, informed, and deeply connected to the communities it serves.

Overview

In partnership with The Gifford Foundation, this program is a nine-week training program designed to equip emerging and established community members with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to serve effectively on nonprofit boards.

Time Commitment

Participants commit to a nine-week program that meets once a week for 2 hours in structured, interactive sessions.

Tuition

Registration for Nourishing Tomorrow’s Leaders is $75. Scholarships are available for this program.
