CNY Arts – Finance Committee

The mission of CNY Arts is to promote, support and celebrate arts and culture in CNY. They are currently looking for someone to serve on their Finance Committee with the intent to serve as board treasurer.

Board terms are two years and can be re-upped twice more for a total of six years before rotating off.

The time commitment:

Board meetings are 4 times a year, currently by zoom, 11:45AM to 1:15pm;
Finance Committee meets monthly to review monthly statements;
When the Finance Committee member assumes the Treasurer position, there are 6-8 Executive Committee meetings in between board meetings. Same 11:45am to 1:15pm on 3^rd Thursday of month (as of now).

Every board member is required to make a personal contribution (at any dollar level).

CNY Arts is committed to diversity and is seeking younger board members, ethnically diverse board members and, at this time, someone who identifies as male. Financial expertise is specifically needed now.
