Interested in helping families in Madison County?

Community Action Partnership (CAP) for Madison County has a mission to help individuals, families, and children face the challenges of today while building hope for the future. CAP serves the community through a variety of programs including Healthy Families, WIC and Transitional Housing.

CAP is currently looking for board members who are interested in a three-year term and serving on a committee of their interest. The total time commitment is 2-4 hours a month. The board meets every other month at 5:30 p.m., virtually. No personal financial obligation is required.

The CAP board is a Federally mandated tripartite model and requires representatives from 1) elected public office or their designee, 2) private sector, and 3) low income individuals in the community in which they serve. At this moment CAP is recruiting for all three sectors. Board members must reside or work in Madison County.
